Yoko Sakamoto - Regular Collar Shirt (Mint)

A regular-collared dress shirt made from the world's best ultimate high-count typewriter cotton. While the pattern is elegant as a dress shirt, it features a relaxed dropped shoulder line, a loose and wide body width, and a loose, relaxed size feel. The fabric will develop an aged look as it is worn, such as fraying and a sense of being hit. It is sewn at a factory specialising in shirts with a flap core and very fine needlework.

This is a typewriter woven on an old-style shuttle loom at a historic weaving mill in the Enshu region, which is the most particular cotton plain weave fabric in the world. This plain weave fabric is woven to an ultra-high density that exceeds the limits of what other weavers can imitate. When fine-count yarns are woven into an ultra-high-density weave, a cloth-slipping sound is produced. The fabric makes a crisp sound every time you move, and you will feel as if you are wearing the fabric. After sewing, the garment is garment dyed to give the item a more deeply textured finish. The more you wear it, the more you will enjoy the unique aging effect.
